The Developer

Grant Station's construction began in 2006 with 24 new homes built and occupied by 2008 before the original developers abandoned the unfinished community to the banks.  The homeowners, who have pride in their community,  took turns cutting grass and weeding the entrance area while they waited.  They waited almost three years.

On March 29, 2011, the team of McKibbon-Robison purchased the 55 remaining homesites and took control of the community and  the homeowner's association.

In the first 90 days of ownership, Grant Station has seen the following improvements:

  • Completion sidewalks (several thousand feet) throughout the community
  • Construction of the entrance monument with new Grant Station emblem
  • Repair of the damaged storm water detention ponds
  • Repair of damaged curbs and gutters
  • Replacement of damaged storm water drains
  • New grass planted along new sidewalks
  • Street lights repaired
  • Pond drained and cleaned
  • Master nature trail plan design phase
  • Creation of an active Homeowner's association
  • Collection of all past due HOA fees
  • Enforcement of covenants
